Sears Tower
This month — my hometown — Chicago aka Chi-Town aka Windy City! If you have not been to the new Sears Tower (Willis Tower) Skydeck on the 103rd floor with the glass bottom balconies, you must go. It is such an exhilarating experience to stand out on that balcony and look hundreds of feet down.
It’s pretty cool, although beware of a few things: during high tourist season the lines are super long to take the elevator up to the 103rd floor; also the line can be up to an hour or so long. But you can pay a few extra bucks to go in the Express line and wait for about 15-20 minutes at the most! I say pay the extra funds to get up there and get out. Oh and yes there is a line to get back down. It took us about 30 minutes to get on an elevator to get out. Grab your camera and get up your nerve!
